Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I decided to become a counselor because I've always been the go to person and one that people trusted. I have a passion for helping other's and felt being a counselor would fulfill my purpose in life. I genuinely care about the wellbeing of others.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I enjoy working with various populations, but the best clients are those that are motivated for change and willing to put the work in.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I'm excited to work with ALL clients!

What you put in is what you get out!
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I chose to practice at Thriveworks for flexibility. I also wanted to have the ability to provide consistent telehealth services to clients.
What inspires you?
I'm inspired by change. I love to see my clients be the change they want to see.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In the first session I explain the counseling process and answer any questions. I ask about strengths and interest. We really get to know one another during this session. I'm very big on building rapport. Also, discussed is what brought you to counseling.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
A sense of who they are, what they've went through, and what they expect to get out of counseling.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
I'm non-judgmental and easy to talk to. Most of all I am simply just a person.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I love spending time with my family! I enjoy listening to music, dancing, singing working out, and I really enjoy baking and making other sweet treats.
