About
I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change at their own pace.
I am a resident in counseling with 3 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship stress, and major life transitions. I work with individuals who want to feel more grounded, confident, and understood as they move toward healthier patterns, stronger coping skills, and more meaningful connections.
I hold a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Walden University. I use a person-centered, trauma-informed approach that integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and strength-based interventions to support emotional regulation, self-esteem, and relational healing.
My goal is for you to feel supported, respected, and genuinely heard as you take steps toward healing and growth. I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and empowering space, and I would be honored to walk alongside you when you are ready to begin your therapeutic journey.

Marriage counseling, also known as couples therapy and relationship counseling, helps couples work through their specific relationship issues. Thriveworks marriage counseling in Alexandria, VA is led by licensed professionals — often licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs) — who are experts in their field and best-equipped to help couples. Some examples of common focuses within Marriage counseling include:
Marriage counseling works by helping couples identify and better navigate their unique challenges. Following an initial assessment of the couple in terms of strengths and needs, the therapist would then discuss their therapeutic goals and any possible approaches or ways of working together as therapist and couple.Couples attend sessions together, whether they meet in person or by video. In addition to regular marriage counseling sessions, each partner may also be asked to attend a few individual sessions to supplement their progress. This will allow their counselor to get to know each individual better, assess each of their personal needs, and develop the very best treatment plan moving forward.
Marriage counseling at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you and your partner.

The chores pile up, the kids need to get to and from school, and you’ve got to get some personal time in there somewhere! After the day is said and done, you might look back and realize that you barely said a word to your spouse. This lack of communication can lead to other issues that hurt your marriage. Here are a few common issues that marriage therapists help their clients work through:

A marriage therapist at Thriveworks Alexandria can help you identify, manage, and resolve the above challenges as well as those not included on this list. Many couples find that marriage therapy provides the help and support a couple needs to improve their relationship and come out stronger than ever before.
