About Daphne
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with over 21 years of experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults. I have worked in residential, acute inpatient, and outpatient mental health settings, helping clients navigate challenges such as emotional distress, life transitions, and personal growth. My goal is to meet each client where they are and support them in building the tools needed to move forward with clarity and confidence.
I earned my master’s degrees in mental health counseling, philosophy, and psychology from Jacksonville State University and Walden University. My approach to counseling is personalized and collaborative, using diverse therapeutic interventions that support each client’s individual needs while promoting self-awareness, resilience, and long-term well-being.
Counseling can be a rewarding and transformative process, and I am passionate about helping clients discover their potential and strengthen their mindset. Together, we will work to identify meaningful goals, build practical coping strategies, and create a supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your journey.

"I am a counselor because I truly believe in the quote “mind over matter” (by Sir Charles Lyell). I think the enhancement of one’s psychological processes can be a powerful tool for productivity."
Get to know Daphne
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I would like all clients to know that the incorporation of counseling services exhibits strength, not weakness.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In the first sessions, clients can expect rapport building. There will be a process of obtaining information, but this will also be a time to connect.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I collaborate on concepts and ideas with clients and assess their potential to meet the client’s needs.
