About Anne
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with nearly 10 years of experience supporting adults and families through challenges including addiction, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and life stressors. My background includes work in both outpatient and inpatient substance use treatment programs, as well as community mental health settings. I am passionate about helping clients build insight, develop healthy coping skills, discover their strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
I provide empathy, compassion, and safe space for clients to explore their challenges and strengths. I bring personality and a strengths based approach to sessions that utilize cognitive, dialectical, motivational, and experiential therapy.
Whether a client is exploring the need for change or ready to make change, I am ready to provide a safe and curious space for them. I believe each client knows themselves best and am excited to witness their growth and am honored to provide support and another perspective along the way.

"I prioritize having a genuine, organic connection with each client to lay the groundwork to do the work! "

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
Throughout my life I have had influential mentors and counselors walk alongside me when change needed to and finally did happen. I believe in hope and our capacity to change.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I want my clients to know that healing is not only a process but a journey. We are all on a journey. We all need help along our journey.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
The first session will be time for me to get to know you and what has been going on in your life that brought you to the session. We will discuss what expectations you have, what you are hoping to gain from therapy, and complete some paperwork. Therapy takes time and requires trust and a sense of safety. The early stages of therapy are about building that trust and safety. Building the therapeutic relationship.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Each person is an individual. While you may have had similar experiences to other people, the way those experiences have impacted you, the way you feel, the way you learn, your perspective and how it has changed will help me make your therapy journey more individualized.
