About
I bring a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to mental health care, drawing from my years of psychiatric experience to help clients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healing journey.
I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with nearly 20 years of experience in psychiatry, including inpatient, outpatient, and substance use treatment settings. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, and substance use challenges. Many of my clients are seeking support with emotional balance, stress management, recovery, and daily functioning. My goal is to provide compassionate, patient-centered care where you feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout your mental health journey.
My approach is collaborative and evidence-based, drawing on CBT and supportive therapy to help clients build insight, develop coping skills, and work toward emotional wellness. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and co-occurring disorders, and I strive to create a nonjudgmental space focused on healing, growth, and practical solutions.
Healing begins with feeling heard and understood. Wherever you are in your journey, you don't have to face it alone. I'm committed to providing a safe, compassionate space where you can grow, heal, and regain balance. I encourage you to take that next step toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Clinical psychologists can help individuals with a wide variety of problems, but some people are hesitant to seek out help despite the benefits of these health services. One reason for this is that many are under the impression that their problems don’t warrant professional attention.

If you feel like you would benefit from having a safe space to talk about your emotional or mental health with an experienced professional, be sure to make an appointment with Thriveworks licensed counselors in Paramus, New Jersey.
Psychologists typically use cognitive behavioral therapy, or CBT, when treating a wide variety of conditions. The idea behind cognitive behavioral therapy is that behavioral and thinking patterns can contribute to many mental health issues. Fortunately, someone with a doctorate degree in psychology can help clients address these patterns and learn how to create new ones that are more beneficial to their everyday lives.
Working with a licensed psychologist can offer a large number of benefits in your life. Some examples include improved self-worth, better communication skills, better personal and professional satisfaction, and higher energy levels, among others.
In the short term, sessions with our Paramus, NJ counselors can help you identify potential daily stressors and develop strategies to prevent you from derailing your emotional and mental wellbeing. In the long term, we can also help you deal with long term trauma or confront ongoing fears you may be dealing with.
Even simply verbalizing your feelings and experiences has been shown to have a positive impact on the brain. Speaking to a clinical psychologist who has worked with clients on wide-ranging issues can be extremely beneficial regardless of what you’re currently experiencing.
