I am Dr. Benjamin T. Finlayson, PhD, LMFT-S, a relational and couples therapist specializing in LGBTQIA+ affirming care. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, communication difficulties, identity exploration, and life transitions. Rob Dorr is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 10 years of clinical experience. He has a passion for supporting children and adolescents as they go through the difficulties of growing up and attempting to formulate their unique identity in the world. Rob specializes in trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and major life occurrences.

Rob completed his Master's degree from the University of Denver in 2012. He uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing as ways to support his clients as they handle life's obstacles.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with 3 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, couples, and families. My background also includes over 15 years in the healthcare field, which has strengthened my ability to help people improve their relationships with themselves, their partners, and their families. My work focuses on helping clients recognize and transform recurring patterns, reduce blame and shame, and create healthier ways of relating that foster understanding, compassion, and connection.

I earned my master’s in marriage and family therapy from Regis University. I use a humanistic, systemic, and experiential approach, integrating emotionally focused therapy, internal family systems, the Gottman method, and relational life therapy to help clients understand and change unhelpful patterns in their lives.
