Over the course of her life, LaSharta has found multiple ways to serve her community and brings that experience to her mind-care work, including her time spent as a corrections officer and as a member of the US Air Force.
Centered on an individually focused care philosophy, she tailors treatment to each patient’s specific needs, expectations, and goals. Ms. Pearson draws on various therapeutic modalities such as solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

Amber Huckabee is a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly 8 years of experience working as a mental health professional in various settings, including respite care and intensive group therapy. She specializes in assisting teenagers and young adults facing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Amber takes an eclectic approach to therapy, acknowledging all clients have unique needs, learning styles, and motivation.
Amber received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tarleton State University. She often uses cognitive behavioral therapy to address unhelpful thinking styles and teach coping strategies while employing an emotion-focused approach to build self-awareness and assist in stress management.
