Samantha Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 3 years of clinical experience and 8 years of experience in social work. She provides individual and family therapy with her private practice and other agencies. Throughout her career, Ms. Smith has remained dedicated to serving diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults, and those with a range of mental health disorders such as grief and loss; adjustment-related issues; domestic, physical, and sexual trauma; and marital issues. Ms. Smith has intense trauma-informed care training which keeps her in line with her vision of improving the lives of her clients.
Ms. Smith earned her MSW at Jackson State University. Samantha Smith has extensive training in DBT and enjoys utilizing it, as it helps clients in become self-sufficient and self-motivated. Her experience as a social worker working with children, families, and adults allows her to identify with a range of clients on a deeper level and understand their needs.
