A way of helping people in PTSD/trauma therapy is through DBT, as the clients usually experience extreme emotions.
Tools that can be taught in PTSD and trauma therapy are coping skills such as exercising and tapping into creative/artistic outlets such as singing, writing, or playing/learning an instrument.
