About
As an experiential therapist, I work to help clients expand their experience to find an authentic path to healing.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with 10 years of experience supporting individuals navigating substance use, depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship challenges. I have worked across outpatient, community mental health, and inpatient substance use treatment settings, helping clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful change.
I earned my master’s degree in human development and family studies from the University of Connecticut. My therapeutic style is person-centered and experiential, incorporating cognitive and dialectical approaches, solution-focused therapy, strength-based techniques, and emotionally focused interventions to support authentic growth and healing.
Healing is a process, not a single moment. I strive to create a supportive and grounded space where you can explore your experiences, reconnect with your authentic self, and develop tools that foster lasting change. If you’re ready to begin your journey, I invite you to take the next step and schedule a session.

I bring a grounded, compassionate approach to therapy, drawing on my professional experience to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered as they work toward healing by shifting their perspective and reconnecting with their inner strengths.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with over 25 years of experience supporting teens, young adults, adults, couples, and older adults. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional regulation. Many people I work with are seeking greater clarity, balance, and deeper connection in their lives and relationships.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from Alabama A&M University. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I integrate evidence-based techniques to help clients build emotional regulation skills, gain insight, and shift unhelpful patterns in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.
Seeking support takes courage, and you do not have to do it alone. If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or wanting a new perspective, therapy can be a place to feel seen, heard, and supported. I welcome you to take the next step when you are ready and begin your journey toward healing and growth.

Thriveworks Couples therapy helps couples work through their specific relationship issues. It is led by licensed professionals — often licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs) — who are experts in their field and best-equipped to help couples. Some examples of common focuses within couples therapy include:
Couples therapy works by helping couples identify and better navigate their unique challenges. Following an initial assessment of the couple in terms of strengths and needs, the therapist would then discuss their therapeutic goals and any possible approaches or ways of working together as therapist and couple.Couples attend sessions together, whether they meet in person or by video. In addition to regular couples therapy sessions, each partner may also be asked to attend a few individual sessions to supplement their progress. This will allow their counselor to get to know each individual better, assess each of their personal needs, and develop the very best treatment plan moving forward.
Couples therapy at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and via Online therapy. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you and your partner.
On average, couples attend couples therapy for 12 weeks. However, couples therapy may last longer or shorter, dependent on the couples’ needs, the challenges they’d like to work through, and the pace of their progress.
No matter the length or nature of your relationship, every partnership has its ups and downs. Disagreements and frustrations are a natural and common part of coexisting with another person. When you devote so much of your time and energy to someone else, you will inevitably find that there are aspects of your relationship that cause friction or conflict.
But while disagreements are entirely normal, you may find that some elements of your relationship are causing you concern or stress. If you are currently experiencing this, you may want to consider relationship counseling services.
Couples therapy is not about identifying who is to blame or who is in the wrong. Instead, working with a couples therapist can help you develop the tools and skills you need to more effectively communicate with your partner. Couples and marriage counselors can improve your relationship and help you build productive habits that reduce conflict and stress in the future.
