About Madaline
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, IL), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW, AL), and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC, IL) with nearly 10 years of experience across residential substance use treatment, school social work, and hospital-based crisis services. I work with teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, substance use and recovery, and men's and women's issues. My approach is warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental, creating a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
I meet clients where they are, seeing the person beneath the behaviors—not defining them by their struggles. Because every person is unique, I tailor therapy using approaches like CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, always guided by your goals, values, and what works best for you.
Life can be messy, and you don't have to clean it up before walking through my door. Come as you are—I'll meet you there. We'll laugh when we can, tackle the hard stuff together, and create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

"I'm a thirty-something wife, mom of two, and therapist who believes the best therapy happens through genuine human connection—not perfection. Whether we're working through life's challenges or celebrating your growth, my goal is to walk alongside you with authenticity, curiosity, and unwavering respect."
Get to know Madaline
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I have experienced substance use and trauma within my family of origin, worked very heard to break generational cycles and felt like I was doing something "wrong" when everyone else continued to follow along with the cycles. I didn't want others to feel alone through their jouney.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Teens, adults, older adults, couples and anyone who is a genuine human and realizes that I too, am only human.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish everyone understand that therapy looks and feels different for each person and that having someone along for the journey can be very helpful.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Getting to know each other and forming a therapeutic relationship built on sharing information with me that maybe you have never shared before, but feeling comfortable to do so.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I believe that people are more than their behaviors and that no one is "un-fixable" or "unlovable".
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I listen to each thing individuals says, and what their bodies say during session to gage where they are at on their healing journey and what they might need.
