Gina Great is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with 6 years of experience. She brings a broad perspective to therapy, drawing from her diverse background as a mother, United States Army officer, and therapist. Gina offers compassionate, structured support to children and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, attention-deficit and hyperactivity challenges, emotional regulation, and life transitions. She empowers clients through structured, practical approaches that support emotional growth and self-confidence.

Gina earned a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Columbia State University. She incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, journaling, movement, expressive arts, and mindfulness into her work to help clients heal, build resilience, and move forward with purpose.

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 12 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through a wide range of mental health concerns and life transitions. I work with children and adolescents, including those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, as well as couples seeking to improve communication and strengthen their connection. I also support women navigating identity changes, major life transitions, and adjustments during the empty-nest stage.

I earned my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Walden University. My approach to counseling is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I strive to create a safe, supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and encouraged as they work toward meaningful growth and positive change.

Common issues that I help with include depression, anxiety, self-esteem, anger management, relationship stressors, behavior issues, trauma and abuse, stress management, relational codependency, suicidal thoughts, and grief. I utilize a holistic/systems approach to counseling in order to understand the impact that a client’s mental, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being may have on the issues that they are facing.
