About
I believe healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and accepted without judgment, allowing them to show up as their authentic selves.
I spent many years working in the entertainment industry before returning to school to pursue my passion for helping others and creating a safe, supportive space where people can feel heard, understood, and accepted. I am currently an ACSW working toward licensure, with training in trauma-informed care, substance abuse, and Motivational Interviewing. I work with a wide range of clients, particularly individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges, and many are seeking support in understanding themselves more deeply, improving coping skills, building healthier relationships, and feeling more grounded in their daily lives.
My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. I utilize Motivational Interviewing and person-centered techniques to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and feel more empowered in their lives. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, and emotional challenges while creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for healing and growth.
Healing and growth can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate it alone. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and accepted for who they are. If you are ready to begin your journey toward healing, self-understanding, and personal growth, I would be honored to support you along the way.

As a person of color, I have firsthand experience navigating the stigma around mental health and seeking support. I understand how important it is to find a therapist who can meet you where you are and guide sessions at your own pace.
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 12 years of experience. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, behavioral challenges, family conflict, and life transitions. I focus on understanding how social and emotional needs are shaped by environmental influences, genetics, and social interactions. My experience includes ABA therapy for children on the autism spectrum, community mental health with families, and adult private practice. I support clients in functioning at home, school, and work while navigating life’s challenges with confidence.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from California State University, Northridge. I am also certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and managing and adapting practice, structured evidence-based models used to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, and disruptive behaviors.
Since no one method works for everyone, we will explore your goals, understand the barriers you may have faced in the past, and develop a personalized plan that supports meaningful progress. Therapy can be a place where things begin to make sense, and where you can gain the insight and practical tools needed to move forward with clarity and confidence.

With Thriveworks, Online therapy is an effective alternative to in-person therapy services in which a client can speak to a Thriveworks therapist remotely via online video conferencing. Online sessions are just as effective as in-person treatment, but they can also provide added benefits like reduced travel time, saving money on transportation or childcare, and increased access to care.
Online therapy works much like traditional in-person therapy but takes place through secure video conferencing. Clients can attend Online therapy from any safe place they choose that has access to the internet, whether that be their home or another easily accessible place. Like in-person treatment, a therapist will work with their client to address their concerns, create goals, and establish an effective treatment plan.
There is no best option for online therapy—instead, it’s best to focus on finding a provider that meets your specific needs and with whom you can form a professional connection with.
Yes, online therapy is just as effetive for many clients as in-person sessions.
Online therapy can last for a few months to years depending on the goals and symptoms of the client. The treatment process will be unique to each client and lend itself to their specific concerns, which means that the time it takes to treat them will always be different. Timing is also up to the client themselves; they are free to stop therapy whenever they please, especially if they feel they have reached their goals and addressed their concerns.
At Thriveworks, we accept most major insurance plans, allowing many clients to pay as little as $0–$50 per session with their co-pay. We also offer self-pay options for those out-of-network or without insurance. Self-pay rates for talk therapy range from $160 to $240 for intake sessions and $135 to $195 for follow-ups, depending on your state. For psychiatry services, self-pay intake sessions are $255–$375, with follow-ups ranging from $175–$300, also varying by state. More information on current self-pay costs is available on our pricing page.
We get it. Schedules fill up and “maybe tomorrow” becomes “maybe next week.” But the decision to care for your mental and emotional health is one of the most important decisions of your life. It can be the difference between living with anxiety, depression, or self-esteem issues and engaging thoughtfully with your world and the people in it.
You can’t always prevent bad things from happening. But, with therapy, you can reexamine the way you respond. You can empower yourself to make careful decisions that positively influence your life. To get started with virtual counseling, call us at Thriveworks in Thousand Oaks, CA. No matter your schedule, you don’t have to compromise on care.
The reasons we seek mental and emotional health care remain the same whether we desire face-to-face or online care. Individuals, partners, and families pursue therapy and counseling to enrich their lives, solve challenges, or prepare for future complications.
A licensed mental health professional can provide the same great services you receive face-to-face online. Some of these services include:
Our mental and emotional health can shape our self-esteem, our relationships, and our perceptions of the world. Our wellbeing is too important to ignore, and virtual therapy can ensure that we schedule routine mental health checkups no matter our time constraints.
Online therapy is all about convenient and effective care. Your licensed professional can provide the same services you receive during traditional therapy with several added benefits. These include:
Speaking with a provider online allows you to schedule appointments during breaks in your day without having to worry about commuting. If you’re a person with limited mobility or someone who lives in a remote area, online services can provide an easy way for you to speak to a professional from wherever you are. You can even create an at-home or on-the-go space that puts you at ease and promotes open dialogue with your provider.
Like in-person therapy, virtual therapy helps you face your challenges from the inside out. You’ll learn to identify any internal or external triggers, combat negative thinking patterns, and apply coping techniques as you progress on your journey.
We want therapy to be as accessible as possible. That’s why we accept a number of different health insurance policies to accommodate your needs and why we offer a flexible cancellation policy. We also offer evening and weekend sessions, and same-week appointments to new clients.
Online counseling has real-world benefits. To see how it can help you, schedule an appointment with us today at Thriveworks in Thousand Oaks, CA.
