About
As a woman with eight years of experience in mental health, I bring a culturally grounded, compassionate approach that honors your lived experience and creates a safe space where you can feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal.
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing and eight years of experience in mental health care. I provide compassionate, evidence-based treatment to children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan. I work with clients facing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, and other psychiatric concerns. Many come seeking clarity, medication management, coping skills, and emotional balance, and I strive to create a supportive, collaborative space for healing and growth.
My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and solution-focused. I combine thorough assessment and thoughtful medication management to promote stability and growth. You can expect to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your care, while also building practical tools for lasting emotional wellness.
Taking the first step toward support can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate it alone. Your experiences are valid, and healing is possible with the right support. When you're ready, I welcome you to schedule an appointment so we can begin your journey toward greater balance and well-being together.

I’m Jacob Glose, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and Arkansas with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I provide individual and couples therapy and specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges. I am trained in EMDR and offer trauma-informed care for clients looking to process difficult past experiences and move forward with more clarity and stability. My approach to therapy is collaborative and honest. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is essential.
I build that through consistency, trust, & clear communication. Early sessions focus on understanding what brings you to therapy, identifying your goals, and creating a plan that fits your needs. From there, the work involves exploring patterns, thoughts, and emotions that may be contributing to distress or keeping you stuck.
Beginning therapy can feel uncertain, but I work to create a supportive and steady space. My approach helps clients make sense of their experiences and build the insight and tools needed to face life’s challenges with more compassion, confidence, and direction.

As an African American female raised in a family that has experienced poverty, trauma, addiction, and a multitude of other major life stressors, I am no stranger to adversity. These life experiences have instilled a deep commitment to learning, humility, and compassion for others. I will always advocate for those willing to overcome life's challenges.
Janet Lewis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. She specializes in supporting others through trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, gender identity, personality disorders, and stress. Janet began her career working in child welfare with the Department of Human Services before working with children with behavioral health disorders and dysfunctional home lives. Janet has provided behavioral health therapy for children, adults, and families, school-based therapy for children, and residential treatment for adolescents recovering from addiction. She also has 3 years of experience in hospice care.
Janet has a Master's in Social Work from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. She takes a holistic approach, providing a safe and supportive environment for personal growth, healing, and transformation. Behavioral and developmental theories guide her work, and she utilizes trauma-informed and client-centered therapeutic interventions.
Janet believes the most significant impact of fear is its ability to paralyze us. Fear can prevent us from pursuing our dreams and lead to missed opportunities and a life unfulfilled. In this journey, Janet can help you discover that the true essence of bravery lies not in the absence of fear, but in the determination to rise above it.
You deserve dedicated time with a mental health professional — it can be life-changing.

Yes, there are therapists who help with anger via Anger management therapy. It’s a therapeutic process that an individual goes through to manage their anger and identify its triggers. They’re given clear instructions on how to improve their angry behavior as well as a safe space for opening up about their emotions.
Once an individual’s triggers are identified, anger management therapy focuses on helping the individual process and respond to these emotions in a more positive and productive manner. The anger management therapist will provide coping strategies and ultimately help their client take back control of their anger.
The five keys to mastering anger include identifying triggers, pausing before reacting, calmly expressing emotions, discovering constructive outlets for frustration, and seeking professional assistance if necessary. Acquiring these skills through Anger management therapy empowers individuals to effectively manage and navigate their anger.
The best therapy for anger management often involves cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which helps individuals identify and change patterns of thinking and behavior related to anger.
Anger management therapy at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.
Often, Anger management therapy lasts between 4-6 weeks. However, it can last longer, dependent on the individual’s needs.
Includes individual, couples, child/ teen, & family therapy
