I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with 10 years of experience, and more than 6 years of experience working as a therapist. Prior to working as a professional counselor, I provided clinical case management to individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues in a variety of settings. I am passionate about helping individuals who are striving to overcome issues like depression, anxiety, life transitions, anger, self-destructive behavior (substance use, self-sabotage, etc.), and existential crises.
I completed my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University and my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Marquette University. My go-to approach for individual therapy is first finding what type of treatment is going to best suit the client. I want the client to feel comfortable and assured he/she will be getting the best quality of care possible.

I know a client is making meaningful progress in individual therapy when they begin to report a decrease in symptoms. Client's will not only feel emotionally and psychologically healthier, but also look physically well and confident in themselves.
Client's can supplement their time in individual therapy with using the skills, tools and treatment modalities they learn while in their sessions. That way clients will be able to perform well in relationship to others, gain self-confidence, lower maladaptive behaviors and substitute them with positive thoughts and feelings.

The duration of your individual therapy sessions will vary. The decision on the number and frequency of sessions is typically collaboratively determined by the client and therapist.
At Thriveworks, we accept most major insurance plans, allowing many clients to pay as little as $0–$50 per session with their co-pay. We also offer self-pay options for those out-of-network or without insurance. Self-pay rates for talk therapy range from $160 to $240 for intake sessions and $135 to $195 for follow-ups, depending on your state. For psychiatry services, self-pay intake sessions are $255–$375, with follow-ups ranging from $175–$300, also varying by state.
