About
As one who has experienced personal trauma and loss, I have an authentic understanding of how we are impacted by painful life circumstances and how building new life skills can empower us once again.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 4 years of experience supporting clients in Florida and Texas. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, and emotional abuse. I help clients process and overcome the effects of trauma while creating a safe, judgment-free space to share their experiences. I am passionate about helping people understand their emotions, build resilience, and move toward healing with clarity and confidence.
I earned my master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Walden University. My therapeutic style is warm and interactive, grounded in respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I draw from cognitive behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive approaches to create treatment plans tailored to your individual needs.
It takes courage to seek support, and choosing therapy is a powerful first step toward change. I aim to empower you as you work toward a more fulfilling and emotionally balanced life. If you are ready to begin that journey, I am here to walk with you and help you move forward with strength and support.

My go-to approach for treating depression is cognitive behavioral therapy and using validation through a person-centered approach to counseling.
I teach the following tools in depression counseling: challenging negative thoughts, distress tolerance skills, emotion regulation skills, and managing crises.
A client is making meaningful progress when they are able to process difficult negative feelings and can cope effectively.
To supplement depression counseling in their personal time, a client can write their thoughts in a journal. This will allow someone to look back and reread their thoughts which can help them gain more insight and see how things may be perceived.
To prepare for depression counseling, you can expect to work together with your counselor to find effective and achievable goals that will be geared towards increasing your self-worth.
