About Adrian
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 4 years of experience helping adults navigate depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, trauma, and major life transitions. I strive to create a compassionate and collaborative environment where clients feel safe to explore their emotions, strengthen their sense of self, and build lasting confidence through self-awareness, emotional growth, and personal empowerment.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Psychology from Sam Houston State University. My therapeutic approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused strategies, person-centered techniques, and reality therapy to encourage insight, resilience, and meaningful progress throughout the healing process.
Reaching out for help is a powerful act of courage and self-commitment. My goal is to offer a genuine and supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and understood as you work toward lasting change. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing and personal growth.

"I believe every person has the capacity for growth and healing, and my role is to help you uncover your strengths and move toward the life you want."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel understood and supported through life’s challenges. I believe everyone deserves a safe space to be heard and to discover their own strength. Being part of that process—watching clients grow, heal, and find confidence—is what inspires me every day.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adults who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives, even if they’re not sure where to start. Many of my clients are navigating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, trauma, or major life transitions. I value working with individuals who are open to exploring new perspectives and building healthier patterns at their own pace.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that healing is a process, not a race. Growth takes time, patience, and self-compassion, and it’s okay to have ups and downs along the way. Therapy isn’t about being “fixed” — it’s about understanding yourself, finding balance, and learning tools that help you navigate life with greater confidence and peace.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can share what’s been going on at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. Early sessions focus on building trust, understanding your story, and setting meaningful goals together to guide your path toward growth and healing.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My work is guided by empathy, respect, and the belief that everyone has the ability to grow and heal. Personal experiences have taught me the importance of connection, resilience, and understanding each person’s unique story. These values shape how I show up in session—with compassion, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to helping clients feel seen and supported.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe therapy should fit each person—not the other way around. I take time to understand your goals, background, and strengths, then adjust my approach using CBT, solution-focused, person-centered, and reality therapy techniques. This flexibility helps create a personalized path that supports your growth, healing, and lasting change.
