About Jenny
Jenny Betancis is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 15 years of professional experience. She works with clients between the ages of 10-65 and above who are struggling with depression, trauma, anxiety, anger, women's issues, stress, life transitions, relationship issues, and much more.
Jenny holds a Master's degree in Community Counseling from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (T-FCBT).

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a mental health counselor because I realized that all people need to be heard and validated in a safe, caring environment which often times does not occur in our upbringing.
What types of clients do you work with best?
Pre-teens, teenagers and parents.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am excited to work with all my clients.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all my clients to know their thoughts and feelings are important and expressing them is key to be healthy.

I read and spend time with my dogs.
