About
As someone who has walked alongside countless individuals through trauma, self-doubt, and life's unexpected turns, I am passionate about helping people reclaim their strength, rewrite their narrative, and develop the tools needed to rise with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 2 years of experience. I specialize in helping adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and life transitions. I work with clients seeking clarity, emotional balance, and healthier coping skills, and I partner with them to build confidence, resilience, and a renewed sense of self.
I earned my Master’s in Nursing from West Coast University. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and goal-focused. I draw from evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-informed care to help clients build insight, develop coping skills, and create lasting change.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. I’m here to help you uncover your strengths, break old patterns, and build a meaningful, steady life.. When you’re ready, I would be honored to support you on your path to healing, growth, and long-term emotional well-being.

I believe that even through setbacks and unimaginable life events, compassionate support can help us grow, heal, and embrace that we’re all a work in progress.
I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel heard throughout their therapeutic journey. I work with individuals who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, and other emotional or behavioral challenges. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward. Others are seeking personal growth, healthier coping strategies, improved relationships, or a deeper understanding of themselves. My approach is collaborative and client-centered.
I believe that while therapists provide guidance, support, and clinical expertise, clients are the experts on their own lives. Together, we identify strengths, explore obstacles, and develop practical tools that support healing and resilience. My goal is to help clients make meaningful changes while building greater confidence and self-awareness along the way.
Life's challenges can feel heavy, but healing is possible. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can explore, grow, and move forward with confidence. If you're ready to take the next step, I would be honored to support you along the way.

I believe therapy is a collaborative space where your strengths, self-awareness, and capacity for change can guide us toward meaningful, lasting growth, and I bring a compassionate, mindful, and solution-focused approach to help you get there.
I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) who believes you are enough exactly as you are. I provide a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space for clients navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and everyday stressors. I believe therapy is a place to feel heard, understand yourself more deeply, and discover the strengths you already carry.
My approach is strength-based, solution-focused, and grounded in mindful CBT. I work collaboratively with clients who are ready to explore new perspectives and challenge unhelpful patterns. Together, we identify practical tools and meaningful steps toward greater confidence, clarity, healthier relationships, and lasting growth.
Therapy doesn't require you to have everything figured out—just be willing to begin. I strive to create a space where you can show up authentically, feel understood, and move at a pace that honors your journey. If you're ready, I invite you to schedule an appointment and begin exploring what meaningful change can look like for you.

As someone who has personally struggled with depression and anxiety, I understand what it feels like and how building new life skills can empower us to heal.
I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker. I have a Masters in Social Work from Touro College in New York City. For the past several years I have been working as a therapist with clients who experience depression and anxiety. I also work with people in life transitions, and those that are having difficulties in their relationships. I work with adults of all ages, including older adults who are struggling with grief and loss, loneliness, isolation, and health concerns. Together we find out what behaviors and patterns are getting in the way of making changes, and we work on finding new ways of moving towards feeling better about life.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. We will move at your pace, working to understand what’s going on beneath the surface, and build self-awareness, self-trust, and compassion for yourself. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
You don’t have to have anything figured out. You simply need a willingness to show up and be curious about your inner world. Together, we’ll make space for your emotions, and reconnect with the parts of you that may feel lost or unheard. I am here to work with you. Give yourself the gift of therapy.

Everyone has the capacity to heal, and it is my honor to help you find your path back towards presence, passion, and fullness.
I’m Anna, an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW). I became a therapist after nearly a decade studying and teaching literature at universities. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing issues such as anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, relationship conflicts, and life transitions. I’m passionate about the mind-body connection and spirituality in psychotherapy, and enjoy supporting individuals with chronic illness/pain; body image issues; facing challenges in parenting or pregnancy; and those exploring religious/spiritual belief and/or trauma.
I empower you to find your own unique path to healing in mind, body, and spirit. I often use methods from ACT, DBT, MBCT, and CBT, especially those drawn on mindfulness traditions and somatic awareness. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed. I am also EMDR-trained, using it to help clients process traumatic experiences big and small.
I arrive at each session in a spirit of openness, curiosity, and non-judgmental compassion. I will follow your lead, helping you explore thought patterns and emotional reactions that no longer serve you; gain insight into dynamics past and present; and develop habits and lifestyle adjustments to help you live more fully in between sessions.
You deserve dedicated time with a mental health professional — it can be life-changing.

At Thriveworks, Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) primarily concentrates on assisting individuals in emotion regulation, enhancing interpersonal relationships, and acquiring effective coping strategies for managing stress and emotional difficulties.
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) targets your personal challenges. You may work with your DBT therapist to maintain diary cards to monitor progress, emphasizing validation and support in the therapeutic relationship. DBT follows a stage-based approach, prioritizing crisis reduction initially and life satisfaction.
DBT was initially developed to address the needs of individuals with borderline personality disorder (BPD). However, its versatile approach has enabled its application to a wide range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, stress, and anger issues.
The 4 pillars of DBT are mindfulness, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance.
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) have distinct purposes and aren’t inherently superior or inferior to one another. DBT is most effective for managing emotional regulation, personality disorders, and interpersonal challenges, while EMDR is specifically tailored for individuals with trauma-related conditions like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) with therapists at Thriveworks in Roseville, CA is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.
The duration of a standard DBT program is typically around 24 weeks, which is roughly six months. The actual number of sessions will vary depending on the issues you wish to address.
