About Sara
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 2 years of experience. I specialize in helping adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and life transitions. I work with clients seeking clarity, emotional balance, and healthier coping skills, and I partner with them to build confidence, resilience, and a renewed sense of self.
I earned my Master’s in Nursing from West Coast University. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and goal-focused. I draw from evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-informed care to help clients build insight, develop coping skills, and create lasting change.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. I’m here to help you uncover your strengths, break old patterns, and build a meaningful, steady life.. When you’re ready, I would be honored to support you on your path to healing, growth, and long-term emotional well-being.

"As someone who has walked alongside countless individuals through trauma, self-doubt, and life's unexpected turns, I am passionate about helping people reclaim their strength, rewrite their narrative, and develop the tools needed to rise with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a psychiatric provider to combine evidence-based treatment with genuine human connection. I wanted to help people understand what they’re going through, feel supported, and gain access to effective tools and interventions that lead to meaningful, lasting change.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and major life transitions. I’m especially effective with clients who are ready to better understand their patterns, build healthier coping skills, and make steady progress toward emotional stability and confidence.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing isn’t linear, and progress isn’t about perfection—it’s about building awareness, practicing new skills, and making small, consistent steps over time. Growth takes patience and support, and there is no “wrong” pace in the healing process.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect a structured, comfortable, and judgment-free space. In the first sessions, we will clarify goals, review history, and create an individualized treatment plan. I focus on building trust, identifying priorities, and offering clear next steps so clients leave each session feeling grounded and supported.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is rooted in empathy, transparency, and respect for each client’s lived experience. I value collaboration and believe clients make the most progress when they feel heard, informed, and actively involved in treatment decisions
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I customize care by combining medication management with evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed strategies. Together, we identify goals, current barriers, and personal strengths to create a plan that is realistic, individualized, and focused on measurable progress.
Does CLINICIAN prescribe medications effective for the treatment of ADHD?
