I am a bilingual Associate Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting adults, adolescents, and families through a variety of life challenges. My therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and a strengths-based perspective to create a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space. I enjoy working with clients who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship or family challenges, life transitions, low self-esteem, or difficulty feeling motivated or moving forward. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths and make meaningful changes.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on meeting each client where they are. I use CBT to help clients recognize patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while MI helps clients explore their goals and strengthen motivation. I also incorporate a strengths-based perspective to help clients recognize their resilience.

I understand that reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before beginning. My goal is to provide a welcoming space where you feel heard and supported. Together, we can build on your strengths and work toward meaningful change. When you’re ready, I invite you to schedule an appointment.

"I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to build on their strengths and create meaningful, lasting change."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I decided to become a counselor because I have always been passionate about helping people feel heard, supported, and empowered during difficult times. I believe everyone has strengths they can build upon, and I find it meaningful to help clients recognize those strengths, develop healthier coping skills, and create positive changes in their lives. Becoming a counselor allows me to combine compassion with evidence-based approaches to support people as they work toward healing, growth, and a greater sense of well-being.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work best with adults and adolescents who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, or significant life transitions. I especially enjoy working with clients who want to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping skills, and make meaningful changes but may feel unsure about where to begin. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while we work together to build on their strengths and move toward their personal goals.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

One thing I wish all clients knew is that healing is not a linear process, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Therapy is a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment. Progress can look different for everyone, and even small steps toward understanding yourself, developing healthier coping skills, and creating change are meaningful.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

In the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where we can begin getting to know one another. I’ll take time to learn about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re experiencing, your strengths, and what you hope to achieve. In the early stages of therapy, we’ll work together to identify meaningful goals and develop a plan that feels comfortable and realistic for you. Using approaches such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based techniques, we’ll begin building practical skills and exploring patterns that may be affecting your well-being, while moving at a pace that feels right for you.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

My practice is guided by the values of compassion, empathy, respect, and the belief that every person deserves to feel heard and understood. My experiences working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds have taught me the importance of meeting people where they are, without judgment, and recognizing the strengths they already possess. I value collaboration and authenticity in the therapeutic relationship and strive to create a safe, culturally responsive space where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences, exploring challenges, and working toward meaningful change.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I tailor therapy by recognizing that every client brings their own experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals to the therapeutic process. I take time to understand what is most important to each person and adjust my approach based on their individual needs, preferences, and pace. I draw from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based techniques while remaining flexible and collaborative throughout our work together. My goal is to help each client feel understood and supported while developing practical strategies that fit their life and help them create meaningful, lasting change.
