About
I believe healing begins when we feel truly seen and understood, and I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative space where you can process life's challenges, build on your strengths, and move toward lasting change.
Hi, I'm Kelsey Bass, M.A., LPC. I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. Together, we work to better understand your experiences, develop effective coping skills, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in a supportive and collaborative environment where you feel heard and valued.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centered techniques to help you process difficult experiences, build practical coping skills, and create the lasting, meaningful change you deserve.
Reaching out for support takes courage, and you don't have to face life's challenges alone. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or seeking personal growth, I'd be honored to walk alongside you on your journey. When you're ready, I invite you to take the first step toward healing and lasting change.

OCD counseling is a specialized therapeutic approach aimed at supporting individuals coping with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The goal of this counseling is to help clients manage and alleviate the distressing symptoms of OCD by systematically addressing their obsessive thought patterns and compulsive behaviors.
In OCD counseling, Thriveworks Round Rock therapists use cognitive behavioral techniques, including exposure and response prevention, to assist you in addressing and managing your obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. An OCD therapist will collaborate with you to identify and modify irrational thought patterns while gradually and gently exposing you to anxiety-triggering situations, helping to disrupt the cycle of obsessive-compulsive rituals and promote healthier coping strategies.
Thriveworks OCD counseling in Round Rock, TX is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.
The number of sessions for OCD counseling is variable, contingent upon the individual’s unique needs, the severity of their condition, and their progress during treatment. Typically, Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), commonly used for OCD, comprises around 12 to 16 weekly sessions, but the exact session count can be customized based on the individual’s response to treatment and therapeutic objectives. Some opt for a more extended duration to comprehensively manage symptoms and address complex issues.
