I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, life transitions, and challenges with connection and belonging. My approach is collaborative and grounded in patience, curiosity, and compassion. I aim to create a space where you feel safe to better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, develop meaningful coping skills, and move toward a life that feels more authentic to you.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in an Adlerian perspective. I help clients explore patterns, recognize their strengths, build practical coping skills, and develop a stronger sense of identity and belonging. Clients can expect a supportive space where we work together toward meaningful, lasting change.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here to meet you with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment. If you’re ready to begin exploring what’s next, I invite you to schedule an appointment and take that first step toward meaningful change.

"As someone who understands how deeply identity, relationships, and our sense of belonging can shape our lives, I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and a belief that you deserve to feel at home in yourself."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I came to understand that you do not have to have everything figured out to help someone else find their way. For a long time, I believed my own struggles meant counseling was something I could never do. Over time, that belief changed. I began to see how meaningful it can be to sit with someone in difficult moments, help them recognize their strengths, and remind them that where they are now does not have to determine where they go next. That perspective is a large part of what drew me to this work.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work especially well with clients who are navigating identity development, life transitions, anxiety, depression, or challenges with connection and belonging. I enjoy supporting individuals who may feel stuck, uncertain about their next steps, or disconnected from themselves or others. Together, we can explore what is contributing to these challenges, identify strengths, and develop meaningful ways to move forward.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that struggling does not mean there is something wrong with you. We all experience moments when we feel lost, disconnected, or unsure of ourselves. Therapy is not about becoming a different person. It is about creating space to understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and discover what you need to move forward.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and collaborative space where we begin getting to know you, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from the process. We will take time to build trust and identify goals together rather than trying to solve everything at once. In the early stages, I focus on understanding your experiences, recognizing your strengths, and developing practical tools that support you between sessions. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable and meaningful for you.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is informed by my own experiences of learning that growth does not require having everything figured out. Those experiences have shaped my belief that people deserve to be met with patience, compassion, and without judgment. I value connection, belonging, and creating a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest about where they are while also recognizing their strengths and potential for growth. I also believe that meaningful support extends beyond the therapy room, which informs my emphasis on community and connecting clients with resources that can support them.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe therapy should be shaped around the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. I take time to understand each client’s experiences, goals, identity, strengths, and current circumstances, while also considering what feels manageable for them. Together, we identify approaches and coping strategies that fit their needs and adjust as those needs change. My goal is to collaborate with each client so therapy feels relevant, respectful, and genuinely useful to their life.
