She has spent her career striving and advocating to meet the needs of children and families. Alphia specializes in treating concerns including behavioral issues, life transitions, ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, trauma, and abuse. Alphia seeks to help others see their potential and view challenges as growth opportunities. She works with clients of all ages and has experience as a crisis prevention intervention trainer and circle of security parenting program facilitator.

She is intensely interested in a variety of mental health issues and how the intersection of therapy and caring can change people’s lives. She is an avid reader and stays current on classic treatment modalities as well as newer ones. She wholeheartedly believes in the mind-body connection and the importance of nutrition, sleep, and exercise for brain health.
