About
Andrew LeBlanc is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a long history of working in mental health and a wide range of experience. He's been in this field since '93 before becoming a social worker and has worked with many different populations from young adults to the senior community.
Andrew received his Master's of Social Work from SUNO School of Social Work. He has also experienced what it is like to be affected by mental health personally and believes this gives him an advantage as a service provider.
Andrew incorporates a variety of techniques into treatment including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based, and strength-based approaches. "I believe that mental health is just as important as physical health and there should be no stigma in seeking assistance," he says. Most counselors or therapists use talk therapy to treat depression. There are many forms of talk therapy that can help, depending on your specific symptoms.
