About
I believe healing begins with feeling genuinely heard and understood, and I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where we build on your strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, seeking healthier coping strategies, or looking to better understand yourself, I'm here to support you in working toward your goals.
I take a collaborative, person-centered approach, tailoring treatment to each client's needs. Drawing from CBT, MI, strengths-based, and solution-focused approaches, I help clients understand unhelpful thought patterns, develop coping skills, and build on their strengths. Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space to foster resilience and growth.
Wherever you are in your journey, you deserve a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood. Together, we'll work to navigate life's challenges, build on your strengths, and help you move toward the life you envision. I look forward to supporting you when you're ready to begin.

Thriveworks Couples therapy helps couples work through their specific relationship issues. It is led by licensed professionals — often licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs) — who are experts in their field and best-equipped to help couples. Some examples of common focuses within couples therapy include:
Couples therapy works by helping couples identify and better navigate their unique challenges. Following an initial assessment of the couple in terms of strengths and needs, the therapist would then discuss their therapeutic goals and any possible approaches or ways of working together as therapist and couple.Couples attend sessions together, whether they meet in person or by video. In addition to regular couples therapy sessions, each partner may also be asked to attend a few individual sessions to supplement their progress. This will allow their counselor to get to know each individual better, assess each of their personal needs, and develop the very best treatment plan moving forward.
Couples therapy at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and via Online therapy. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you and your partner.
On average, couples attend couples therapy for 12 weeks. However, couples therapy may last longer or shorter, dependent on the couples’ needs, the challenges they’d like to work through, and the pace of their progress.
The author James Dobson once advised, “Don’t marry the person you think you can live with; marry only the individual you think you can’t live without.” Long-term spouses wouldn’t stay committed through the conflicts and the hurt and the heartache if they thought they’d be better off without their partner. Marriage can be incredibly hard. But sometimes being without the person you love can be harder, so people do their best to make it work.
Couples counseling can help reduce the occasional bouts of misunderstanding and distress that occur within every relationship. The licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs) at Thriveworks in Huntington Beach, CA excel at working with couples who need a little extra support to resolve conflicts, manage stress and adversity, and improve communication. Marriage therapy is a place where couples can feel comfortable talking about their relationship issues. In the safe zone of a relationship counseling session, couples can reinforce their strengths and remember why they fell in love in the first place. Reach out today to get started.
Countless studies have shown the efficacy of marriage counseling and couples therapy. Most couples are satisfied with the results of therapy in 12 sessions or fewer. People seek guidance from the exceptional LMFTs at Thriveworks for all kinds of reasons. One of the first questions a therapist will ask each partner is what their goals are for therapy. Here are some examples of common goals that a therapist can help facilitate:
The decision to seek marriage counseling is a deeply personal one. Both partners should be on board with the commitment to therapy.
