About
As a middle aged woman I understand many life issues including relationships, life changes and family dynamics.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with 28 years of experience in the mental health field. I am passionate about helping transitional age youth and adults address current and past issues to help them address their unique challenges. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem, and major life transitions. I believe that talk therapy is a process of exploration of learning and growth.
I completed my Master of Social Work at Boston College. I am passionate about nature and have found much growth on hiking trails. This and an enriching family life enable me to provide the support and guidance my clients are seeking. I use mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.
We all go through challenges and changes in life. I am confident that I would be able to help and support you on your journey to learn new skills and gain new perspectives that allow you to cope with whatever you are struggling with. If you are ready to do the work, schedule an appointment today!

Having experienced both the highs and the setbacks life brings, I’ve learned that resilience begins within. There is strength in being your own strongest supporter, holding yourself accountable, and choosing to move forward — even when circumstances are challenging.
I am a dedicated mental health clinician supporting individuals across a broad spectrum of conditions, including generalized anxiety, panic attacks, depression, trauma and PTSD, mood disorders, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, self-esteem struggles, family conflict, and major life transitions. I also work with individuals navigating stress related to school, work, relationships, and legal or systemic involvement. I offer a steady, compassionate presence while encouraging accountability, resilience, and growth—meeting each person where they are and supporting them at a pace that is realistic and sustainable.
My approach is grounded in person-centered care, clinical structure, and practical skill-building. I integrate CBT, strengths-based interventions, and trauma-informed care to help clients build insight, emotional regulation, and healthier coping strategies. I'm someone who listens deeply and helps you build real tools for life outside of sessions.
If you've been quietly carrying more than most people realize, I want you to know that I see that. You deserve a space where you don't have to perform or overexplain. Wherever you are—overwhelmed, numb, motivated, or hesitant—you are worthy of support. Change doesn't require fearlessness; it simply asks that you be willing.
You deserve dedicated time with a mental health professional — it can be life-changing.

At Thriveworks, Couples/marriage therapy is led by licensed professionals — often licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs) — who are experts in their field and best-equipped to help couples.
The Gottman Method of couples therapy is a research-supported approach designed to enhance relationships by bolstering the bond between partners, resolving conflicts, and fostering shared meaning in their relationship through comprehensive assessments and tailored interventions that improve communication, trust, and the overall health of the partnership.
If you’re facing persistent relationship problems, communication breakdowns, or unresolved conflicts that are impacting your emotional well-being and happiness, Couples/marriage therapy may be beneficial for you.
While marriage and couple’s counseling is typically recommended for couples who are experiencing persistent or severe relationship issues, any relationship can benefit from attending these sessions.
Marriage and couples counseling at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you and your partner.
On average, couples attend marriage and couples counseling for 12 weeks. However, couples & marriage counseling may last longer or shorter, dependent on the couples’ needs, the challenges they’d like to work through, and the pace of their progress.
At Thriveworks, we accept most major insurance plans, allowing many clients to pay as little as $0–$50 per session with their co-pay. We also offer self-pay options for those out-of-network or without insurance. Self-pay rates for talk therapy range from $160 to $240 for intake sessions and $135 to $195 for follow-ups, depending on your state. For psychiatry services, self-pay intake sessions are $255–$375, with follow-ups ranging from $175–$300, also varying by state. More information on current self-pay costs is available on our pricing page.

It does not matter how perfectly a relationship started or how long a couple has been together, every marriage and every relationship has troubles. Just as no individual’s life is perfect, no relationship is perfect. Relational problems may be common, but their ubiquity does not make them fun. Think about these common difficulties that couples face. Do you recognize any?
Restoring a marriage that has gone cold takes work. Both partners need to be committed to doing the work they need to do for the good of the marriage or couple.
Marriage therapists can guide the process. How might marriage counseling help? Couples counseling may provide…
Are you and your significant other having difficulty? If you are fighting… If you are ignoring each other… If trust has broken… If communication has broken down… know that there is help and there are options. For many couples, they come to marriage therapy to help them understand their options.
