Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I love talking to people and I saw the lack of help in the mental health field when I worked in mental health inpatient units.

Young adults.

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?

I love working with children and adolescents and young adults.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?

One thing that I wished all clients knew is how much I want to see them grow in therapy and how happy that makes me that I am part of their journey.

What inspires me most in life is getting a chance to learn from people and grow as a person personally and professionally.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

The first session, I try to get to know about the client, build a rapport, and ask alot of questions. I also want them to feel safe and comfortable.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

In the first session, I just want to the client to get to know me by building rapport and I want them to feel comfortable to be able to open up and talk.

What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?

I am compassionate person who tries to understand everyone's different perspectives and stories. I love my job because I get a chance to help people.
