Josephine Larbi-Boamah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 13 years of experience supporting clients across diverse settings, including acute psychiatric units, outpatient care, and geriatric populations. She has extensive experience providing individual therapy to children, teens, and adults, helping them navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, anger management, and life transitions. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups. My work has included private practice, correctional settings, and serving as a clinical director at an addiction recovery center. I specialize in helping clients navigate addiction, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, ADHD, suicidal ideation, crises, parenting challenges, self-esteem, codependency, and relationship difficulties.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Indiana University. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, family systems, and motivational interviewing. They’re given clear instructions on how to improve their angry behavior as well as a safe space for opening up about their emotions.
