About
I believe that meaningful progress is achieved through a collaborative therapeutic partnership built on trust, compassion, accountability, and mutual commitment. I work closely with clients to establish individualized treatment goals, carefully select evidence-based interventions, and continuously monitor progress to ensure treatment remains effective and responsive to each person's evolving needs.
I earned my Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) and ANCC Board Certification as Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Fairfield University and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Southern Connecticut State University. I am a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Mu Chi Chapter. My experience includes inpatient dual-diagnosis treatment, outpatient mental health services, and private practice—a diverse clinical foundation that informs my comprehensive approach to care. My treatment philosophy is grounded in the biopsychosocial model.
I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, medication management, treatment planning, and education for clients and their support systems. I specialize in psychopharmacological interventions designed to alleviate symptoms, improve quality of life, while incorporating behavioral strategies that promote long-term stability.
My approach balances clinical expertise with genuine human connection, empowering clients to develop insight, resilience, and confidence. Whether addressing depression, anxiety, trauma-related concerns, life transitions, or other mental health challenges, I am dedicated to helping clients move beyond symptom management toward greater healing and well-being.

We all feel sad, unhappy, and down in the dumps, from time to time. We all feel a little unmotivated, struggle to focus, and even pull away from our loved ones sometimes. But when it comes to depression, one experiences a deep despair that is unlike meek feelings of sadness. In depression, one can’t work up the motivation or the desire to get out of bed; one can’t focus or stay on task, despite their greatest efforts; one can’t and doesn’t want to exit their bubble of social isolation, even to talk to their best friends and closest family members.
We all feel nervous, unsettled, and worried, every now and then. We all lose our appetite, experience fatigue, and struggle to sleep at night sometimes. But when it comes to anxiety, one experiences racing thoughts and out of control worry that they can’t set aside. With anxiety, one can’t get their food down or lay down for a few minutes and feel better; one can’t bounce back the next day and sleep just fine again.
