"I believe in the power of stories—the ones we are told and, most importantly, the ones we tell ourselves. Sometimes, we need a change in perspective to understand ourselves better."

Why did you decide to become a counselor?
Growing up, mental health wasn't a topic that was openly discussed, and I saw a lot of people struggle in silence. I want to give people a space to feel heard and learn healthy ways to deal with issues before they become more significant problems.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I work best with individuals looking to make a change and are open to learning new ways to handle the challenges they face.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
Sometimes we get so focused on the problem that we forget what's working, the things we are already doing well, and the small changes we make that are already making a difference.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I choose to work with Thriveworks after aligning with their mission of providing individuals with access to the resources necessary to reach their goals and live healthier lives.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by individuals who show up for themselves and others despite their challenges. It reminds me that our worst days do not have to define us, and things do get better with time.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Clients can expect a supportive and safe environment where they feel heard and understood.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
In our first session, I hope to start building a therapeutic rapport, get to know what brought you into therapy and what goals you want to set for yourself going forward.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
Writing, reading, or watching a good tv show or movie and spending time with family and friends.
