Genevieve Thomas is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with 7 years of experience in individual, group, family, and couples counseling. Genevieve has worked at a psychiatric-residential treatment facility, as well as out-patient and school-based mental health settings. She works with children, teens, and adults facing mental health issues ranging from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), mood disorders, relationship issues, identity/sexuality issues, and life transitions.
Genevieve completed both her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Human Services & Counseling and her Master of Education (MEd) in Counseling & Human Development at Lindsey Wilson College. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered; focusing on the client's overall mental health and well-being. Genevieve implements a variety of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based (MBCT), and solution-focused therapy.
Everybody at some point during their journey will go through transitions, traumas, and challenging situations. Genevieve is passionate about reaching out to help guide and support you by teaching new coping strategies, ideas, and tools to successfully navigate life's challenges. Mandy West is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with 7 years of experience in the mental health field. She is passionate about helping adults address their unique challenges and explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. As a therapist, Mandy will provide a space that is safe to explore your emotions that will foster self-discovery and help ease your emotional pain. Mandy completed her Master's in Education with a concentration in counseling and human development at the Lindsey Wilson School of Professional Counseling of Columbia Kentucky.
