Laura Stark is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and National Certified Counselor with over 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has over 10 years of clinical experience providing care for adolescents and adults in residential treatment centers and hospitalization programs. Laura also spent 5 years as a special education teacher and program coordinator for emotionally challenged students. She has an interest in mood, anxiety/panic disorders, ADHD, late-diagnosed ADHD, OCD, adjustments to life changes, Tourette Syndrome, and neurodiversity.

Laura obtained a Bachelor of Arts at the University of North Texas and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Amberton University in 1997. She became a licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in 2007. Laura utilizes an eclectic counseling approach. She finds CBT, REBT, experiential, and systems therapies to be most successful with the clients she works with.

She provides support and guidance as clients learn about themselves and patterns in their lives. Susan Landers is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 26 years of experience in the mental health field. She is passionate about helping individuals, couples, adults, adolescents, and preteens find their inner voice and learn how to express their unique selves, both as individuals and as couples. Susan specializes in helping those with trauma, grief, depression, and other life problems, including anxiety.

Susan completed her Master of Science in Counseling at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Susan is passionate about helping others heal themselves and uses a therapeutic style, which is a mixture of person-centered, cognitive behavioral, and solution-centered styles, all tailored to her client's individual needs.

Josephine Barclay is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked for the last 4 years in one of Houston's busiest psychiatric hospitals as a unit therapist. She has worked with teens and adults in acute psychiatric distress. She was born and raised in Australia and immigrated to the United States in 1995. Josephine raised 3 daughters and has experienced life transitions, grief, divorce, and depression. Josephine specializes in helping clients cope with suicidal ideation, trauma, depression, anxiety, life transition adjustment issues, geriatric mental health problems, grief, and relationship issues.

Josephine earned her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Houston Baptist University. Her approach is client-centered, meeting clients where they are using integrative treatment approaches, including solution-focused brief therapy, humanistic therapy, existential therapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

Kathy McBride is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. She specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, panic and mood disorders, relationship issues, parenting issues, behavioral problems, self-esteem issues, and improving coping skills. Kathy’s experience includes intensive in-home counseling, in-home parenting support, and school-based counseling services. One of her strengths is her ability to understand people from backgrounds different than hers. Kathy believes that the therapeutic relationship is the driving force in motivating change.

Kathy attended the University of Texas at Austin where she received her Master of Science in Social Work. She employs an eclectic approach and uses cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based and relational therapies, and mindfulness techniques.
