I am Dr. Chioma Ikedinobi, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 18 years of healthcare experience. After earning my PMHNP certification, I advanced my clinical practice through the VA North Texas Health Care System, where I developed deep expertise managing complex psychiatric conditions across diverse populations. I work with adolescents, adults, older adults, and veterans navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma, OCD, insomnia, grief, or life transitions. I specialize in supporting individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and life transitions. I combine evidence-based medication management with supportive therapy to promote healing and long-term well-being. I earned my Master’s in Nursing from Walden University, where I developed a strong commitment to evidence-based care and holistic treatment. My approach blends medication management with supportive therapy to address each client’s unique needs, build coping strategies, and foster resilience and stability.

Arlie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) in the state of Texas. His career has spanned from working with adults seeking help with life adjustments, depression, PTSD, trauma, domestic abuse, and survivors of sexual abuse. As a play therapist, he has worked in public schools and foster care with children needing support with ADHD, adjustment disorders, trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and behavioral concerns.

Arlie received his Bachelor’s degree from Excelsior University while on active duty and completed his Master of Arts counseling and play therapy certification from Regis University in Denver, CO. He is a retired military veteran with 26 years of service and over 7 years of professional counseling experience. Arlie uses several treatment approaches to meet the individual needs of each client. He is a person-centered clinician who believes in establishing a trusting relationship coupled with a genuine concern for the client’s needs. As an RPT, Arlie uses a child-centered play therapy approach. Children often cannot express themselves verbally; therefore, play can be used to help them express concerns while using toys for their words. While his baseline approach with adults is person-centered, he also uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and sand tray therapy dependent on the individual’s particular needs.

Arlie believes everyone has a solution to their problems but sometimes they need support in finding it. He will meet you where you are with honor, with total regard to your concerns, and without judgment. Arlie genuinely would like to help you travel through life with success, dignity, and purpose. Jacqueline Nelson, PhD, MA, BA, LPC, LPC-S is a dedicated and highly experienced Psychotherapist committed to fostering holistic healing and personal evolution. She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Houston (Central Campus); a Master’s in Professional Christian Counseling from Liberty University; and, a PhD in Professional Counseling, Education, and Supervision from Walden University.

With over 15 years of diverse experience—including roles as a Therapist, Supervisor, Crisis Psychotherapist, and Assistant Professor—Dr. Nelson brings a wealth of clinical and academic expertise to her practice. Her extensive background in career counseling, student advocacy, and supervising counseling students highlights her strong capabilities in mentorship and professional coaching.

Dr. Nelson utilizes an eclectic, individualized approach to therapy, recognizing that every client’s path to wellness is unique. While rooted as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, she seamlessly integrates strategies from Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, Existential, Positive Psychology, Gestalt, and Psychodynamic theories. Dr. Nelson is passionate about supporting individuals and families across all stages of human development, helping them navigate complex emotional, mental, and physical challenges.

I am passionate about supporting teens, adults, and couples in Texas reduce anxiety, manage stress, and build resilience. I offer a warm, direct, and honest approach focused on addressing symptoms such as chronic worry, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, and difficulty setting boundaries using practical strategies. I also provide Christian faith-based counseling upon request.

I completed my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a 4.0 GPA over five years ago. I am also credentialed as a Master Certified Professional Coach (MCPC) and was previously Board Certified as a National Certified Counselor by the NBCC.
