About Robin
Hi, I'm Robin. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, and stress. Whether you're seeking healthier coping skills, greater confidence, healing from difficult experiences, or personal growth, I'm committed to creating a compassionate space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to move forward.
I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach that helps clients better understand themselves, develop healthier coping skills, and navigate life's challenges with confidence. Together, we'll identify patterns, build practical strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting growth.
Wherever you are in your journey, you don't have to face it alone. If you're ready to take the next step, I'd be honored to provide a supportive space where you can heal, grow, and move forward with confidence.

"I believe healing happens through authentic connection, compassion, and practical tools that empower you to create lasting change. "

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
From a young age, I knew I wanted a career that would allow me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Around the age of 13, I recognized that I had a deep sense of empathy and a genuine desire to help people beyond my own family and community. I became interested in learning about the experiences of individuals facing significant challenges, including trauma, mental health conditions, and human trafficking. The more I learned, the more I realized how much healing and hope compassionate support can provide. That curiosity eventually grew into a passion for counseling, where I could help people navigate difficult conversations, process life's challenges, and work toward healing and lasting growth.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are willing to engage in the therapeutic process, even if they do not have everything figured out. Therapy is not about being perfect. It is about showing up, being honest, and allowing yourself the opportunity to learn and grow through life's challenges. I especially enjoy working with individuals in the Black community because I understand many of the unique cultural experiences and challenges they may face. My goal is to create a supportive space where every client feels seen, heard, and empowered on their healing journey.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing isn't about becoming a different person. It's about understanding yourself more deeply, learning healthier ways to cope, and growing into the person you were created to be. Progress isn't always linear, and that's okay.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, you can expect a relaxed conversation focused on getting to know one another and building a strong therapeutic relationship. We will explore what brought you to therapy, discuss your goals, and identify what you hope to gain from the process. Together, we will create a personalized plan that meets your unique needs and helps you move toward meaningful and lasting growth.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and healing. I value creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. As a Black woman, I also understand the importance of culturally responsive care and recognize how culture, identity, and life experiences can shape mental health. I believe healing is a collaborative process, and I strive to meet each client with compassion while encouraging them to embrace growth, even when the journey is not perfect.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe every client is unique, so there is no onesize-fits-all approach to therapy. I take the time to understand each client's experiences, strengths, values, and goals before creating a treatment plan tailored to their needs. As therapy progresses, I adapt my approach based on what is working best for each client, ensuring they feel supported, challenged, and empowered throughout their healing journey.
