Known for my warm, direct, and honest approach, I support individuals who want to change through practical tools to better manage daily life. I provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for adults and couples across Texas. I specialize in concerns such as chronic worry, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, and difficulty setting boundaries—offering clear guidance and real-world strategies.
I finished my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a 4.0 and hold credentials as a Master Certified Professional Coach. I offer a supportive space for clients to regain confidence and emotional balance. I also provide Christian faith counseling upon request.

"As a daughter, friend, sister, mother, grandmother, and person who has experienced many of life's stressors, I bring compassion and a desire to understand my clients to each session. I value the importance of the therapeutic alliance and endeavor to make our sessions as therapeutic as possible."

Why did you decide to become a counselor?
As I was seeking hope, help, and healing, I encountered many therapists who did not know how to help me or could not connect with me quickly enough for me to stick around for more than 3 sessions. I endeavor to become the help to others that I was searching for years ago. I am now on a mission to help those who are keeping their hope for help and healing alive.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with adults who have a history of anxiety, chronic traumatic stress, complex PTSD, and those who do not believe they are living their best life possible.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am most excited about working with people who want to take an active role in changing certain mindsets and patterns in their lives. I cannot change anyone but I can provide them with the assistance they can implement to possibly bring about the changes they desire.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all clients knew that it takes courage and maturity to acknowledge when our old ways of thinking and doing things is no longer working for us. Have any of us perfected how to manage this journey we call life? I believe we can all benefit from assistance, counseling, and other perspectives along the way.
What inspires you?
Helping clients grow to become a better, healthier, and happier version of themselves inspires me. This makes my profession very rewarding for me.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Beyond the formalities required in an Intake Session / First Session, clients can expect to be heard and understood. Sometimes, that alone can be positively life changing.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
There are several formalities required for an Intake Session / First Session, which include reviewing expectations, background information, symptoms, concerns and anything a client wants to make me aware of. Together, we set goals and come up with a plan on moving forward to best accomplish those goals.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
Clients should know that I believe that their whole person (spirit, mind, emotions, and body) and their environment (family, friends, neighbors and living conditions) all have a role in how well they are or are not thriving in their lives.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I enjoy spending time with family, friends, traveling, reading, watching movies, and enjoying GOD's creation.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
I believe my Christian values define me the most. I try to live my life based on my Biblical worldview to love GOD first and love others as I love myself.
Why did you choose to work at Thriveworks?
I chose to practice with Thriveworks for several reasons. First, I like the name of the company because I believe we can thrive together, which is so much more than trying to only survive life. Second, I value the work/life balance Thriveworks provides clinicians. The benefits and compensation package Thriveworks offers clinicians surpasses many other mental health companies I have worked for, and this allows me to give my best version of myself to my clients.
