I really like that Teresa has me self reflect when I'm looking for answers. It has become a more consistent pattern of thinking for me and has increased my confidence and understanding of myself. . . When I first started looking for a therapist I was scared. I felt isolated and my goal at the time was to decrease my anxiety and find friends. It has now been almost three years since my first session with Teresa and I have a small group of friends that I actually feel safe with. . . I also wanted to mention that in the past I had a psychiatrist/psychiatry company that I wasn't comfortable with. Teresa asked me why, and in my answer I realized I needed to seek out a new provider. I now have an ADHD diagnosis, an autism diagnosis, and a psychiatrist I am comfortable with. . . I am so grateful that I decided to make my mental health a priority because my weekly sessions with Teresa have helped me in all aspects of my life.
