As a motherless daughter who has walked the path of early loss and trauma, I offer a warm, seasoned heart to help you turn your deepest hurts into a lasting source of resilience and hope.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with experience helping individuals on their path to healing. My career began living in a tent and working as a lay therapist at an outdoor psychiatric hospital for adolescents. This experience, combined with growing up in a rural area during a time of family illness and the early loss of both my mother and father, deeply informs the perspective I bring to my work today. I typically work with individuals and families navigating trauma and addiction, women processing the grief of being Motherless Daughters, and those in the aging process seeking to integrate a lifetime of experience.
My style is supportive, relational, and grounded, born from years of witnessing the resilience of the human spirit. Whether you need structured CBT skills, Internal Family Systems (IFS) work, or deep grief processing, I provide a warm, intuitive space to co-create your wellness plan. I am passionate about helping you reclaim a sense of hope and possibility.
I approach my practice with curiosity and a genuine love for people (and dogs). Healing is a profound and rewarding labor, and it would be my privilege to support you through it. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with 19 years of experience in the mental health field. I work with individuals, couples, and families, supporting clients as they navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, and relational concerns. I am deeply committed to helping people strengthen self-efficacy, build insight, and move toward meaningful personal growth through a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship.
I earned my master’s degree in family and consumer sciences from New Mexico State University. My approach is strength-based, empathetic, and grounded in unconditional positive regard. Family therapy helps families resolve conflicts and strengthen their relationships. It is led by qualified mental health professionals like psychologists, licensed professional counselors (LPCs), and licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs) who have extensive training in family dynamics and group communication.

In family therapy, therapists will often start by asking questions and assessing individual and family dynamics. From there, they may employ therapeutic techniques such as structured family therapy, CBT, strategic family therapy, and more depending on the present concerns and conflicts. From there, a therapist will work to open lines of communication between family members and facilitate emotional healing and growth.
Family therapy can be incredibly successful, with some studies reporting a success rate of almost 90% for improving participants’ emotional and mental health, and around 66% for improving their physical health.
