

Chief Compliance Officer
Heidi Faust, LCSW
Heidi joined Thriveworks in 2012 and has since served as a therapist, clinic manager, regional clinic director, executive clinic director, and franchise owner of two Thriveworks clinics. In Heidi’s current role as chief compliance officer she is responsible for clinical quality assurance and ensuring that Thriveworks’ clinical operations comply with relevant ethical, regulatory, safety, and payer requirements.
Heidi earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from George Mason University and a Master of Social Work with a specialization in Health and Mental Health from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania and Virginia and as a MSW in New York.
Heidi has 15+ years of experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups and has a special interest in working with immigrants, cultural minorities, and people who identify as LGBTQIA+. Heidi treats a wide range of issues including treatment resistant depression, mood disorders, anxiety, grief, impulse control disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, family of origin issues, relationship issues, addiction, co-occuring disorders, life transitions, sexual abuse, complex trauma, and personality disorders.
Her treatment specialties include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused narrative therapy, exposure therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, family systems therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness. She also has extensive training and experience in treating complex trauma related to sexual abuse with children, adolescents, and adults.
Heidi enjoys event planning, entertaining, and interior design and can usually be found spending time with family and friends.
