The Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity partnered with Thriveworks to connect collegiate and alumni members with nationwide mental health support

New York, NY, August 26, 2026: Thriveworks, a leading provider of talk therapy and psychiatry services nationwide, today announced a new partnership with Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity (SAE), one of the largest fraternal organizations in North America. The partnership will connect SAE collegiate and alumni members with information and access to comprehensive mental health services provided by Thriveworks’ team of professionals.

Through the partnership, SAE’s collegiate and alumni members may access Thriveworks’ nationwide network of licensed providers and flexible appointment options, including in-person or online, during the day, evenings, or weekends to easily accommodate study and work schedules. Members can independently seek services from Thriveworks, addressing concerns that may include academic stress, identity and belonging, relationships, and life transitions. Availability of providers, services, appointment times, and location may vary. 

The partnership comes at a crucial moment for men’s mental health, particularly for those who are just starting college, returning for a new school year, or recently transitioning out of college. According to Thriveworks’ recent Pulse on Mental Health Report, while 1 in 4 Gen Z males is currently seeing a mental health professional, almost twice that (49%) express a desire to seek help. That growing openness is already evident in Thriveworks’ internal data, which demonstrates a 12% increase in demand among Gen Z males in the last year alone and a staggering 55% increase since 2023, marking the demographic as one of the fastest-growing segments Thriveworks now serves.

Any services obtained through Thriveworks are subject to Thriveworks’ applicable policies, clinical practices, provider availability, eligibility requirements, and fees. Members are responsible for any costs associated with services they choose to receive, including any applicable insurance deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, or other out-of-pocket expenses. SAE does not provide payment for, guarantee, or assume responsibility for mental health services provided by Thriveworks.

SAE does not participate in the provision of clinical services, does not make clinical decisions or recommendations, and does not receive information about a member’s treatment, diagnosis, or other protected health information from Thriveworks except as may be separately authorized by the member or required by law.
