About Peta
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with 6 years of experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, attachment wounds, low self-esteem, and identity exploration. I believe my clients are the experts in their own lives and focus on building meaning, self-awareness, and resilience. I am especially committed to providing affirming, person-centered care to LGBTQ+ clients, including queer and trans individuals.
I earned my Master of Science in counseling and clinical mental health counseling from the University of Phoenix. My approach integrates person-centered, trauma-informed, and strength-based therapy. I combine clinical expertise with lived experience to help clients develop healthy coping strategies and deeper self-understanding.
If you are working through trauma, identity questions, or relationship challenges, I am here to provide a safe, affirming space where you can heal and grow. Together, we will build practical tools and insight to help you move toward a fuller, more authentic life.

"As a queer-identified woman, I am passionate about helping LGBTQ+ folks to feel more grounded, self-assured, and at peace in their identity"
