Cydney Horton is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Addiction Psychotherapist with 6 years of experience in the mental health field. Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I decided to become a counselor as I am passionate is working with people and unveiling new areas of awareness.

I am able to work with a variety of client needs, and I have more experience working with teens and adults of all ages.

I am excited to work with all clients equally and to navigate each selective issue independently.

I want to establish rapport with individuals in the first session as that aids the therapeutic process.

Clients should know I am clinical based blended with person- centered values. I will meet the client where they are at in order to provide the best possible outcome.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I spend time with my family and engage in physical activity when I am away from my therapist role.
