Cydney Horton is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Addiction Psychotherapist with 6 years of experience in the mental health field. Cydney is passionate about working with teens, adults, and families to address individual and systemic challenges. She specializes in depression, trauma, relationship issues, mood disorders, self-harm, addiction, transitions, domestic violence, and anxiety.

Cydney completed her Master of Counseling at Idaho State University. She is a former D1 athlete with experience in navigating the stressors and pleasantries of change and shifting narratives. Life experiences paired with her professional experience aid Cydney in providing understanding and support that her clients are seeking. She utilizes a variety of treatment modalities including person-centered, narrative, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Gestalt.

Why did you decide to become a counselor?

I decided to become a counselor as I am passionate is working with people and unveiling new areas of awareness.

I spend time with my family and engage in physical activity when I am away from my therapist role.
