Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I found out that I love listening to other people stories and assisting them with finding solutions, resources or just a listening ear. I found that people love talking with me about their life problems.

What types of clients do you work with best?

I work best with those experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. Those that would like to explore there Christian faith. The more involved, openness, and transparent you are with me the better I can assist you. If I am not unaware of something, I can not assist you to the best of my ability.

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?

I am most excited to help clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief. I am also interested in assisting those who would explore Christian beliefs.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?

You are your best advocate. You know what’s best for you. The answers are already within you. You just need assistance with fine tuning with what you already have inside you.

Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?

When it comes to counseling/ providing top tier quality professionals Thriveworks rings a bell in my mind. There name seems to be the most mentioned when discussing where to transition a client for aftercare or wrap around services. I have also heard we have some of most kind and caring therapist/ residents here. So, why not join people that alike me and the best of the best?

What inspires you?

The underdog inspires me all of the time. The person that overcomes obstacles when everyone else least expects it. We are not your expectations. We are unique and complex individuals!

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

Authenticity defines me. Waking up to be my best self without any strings attached and not feeling like I have to perform for others. It’s a life of freedom and I want that for ALL my clients. I want to discuss whatever you would like to work on during sessions. What are your top three goals for therapy?
