About Pamela
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas who has been practicing since 2005. I received my Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work from Baylor University and also hold a Clinical Supervisor license, helping build the next generation of social work clinicians. Since graduating, I've pursued being a real and authentic partner to those navigating mental health concerns, working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with mild to severe presentations. I enjoy working with people dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, phase-of-life challenges, wellness issues, and substance use.
I draw from many therapeutic models—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, problem-solving, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and motivational interviewing—to create a unique experience for each person. I'll work to give you a real, practical space to approach your concerns and navigate meaningful change.
I encourage you to take that first courageous step and schedule a session. We'll work together because many times we need new tools to handle what life has given us, and we'll build that toolbox together. Through conversation, practical application, and maybe a little laughter, we'll journey toward a place of hope and healing.

"We all experience life and the ups and downs along the way. I pursue being a real and authentic partner to journey with you during whatever life has handed you and commit to getting you back to the person you desire to be. "

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I have always found myself leaning into issues of mental health and injustice throughout my life. As I have experienced people speaking hope and love into my life I have found my gifts and have sought to use them to give that same love and hope to others. Finding a place of purpose in counseling inspires me to sit with people in hard places and help them navigate with grace a pathway out.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with most people who are ready to tackle their concerns. I want to not only give you a space to process but also to begin to feel better and make changes in your life and situation in a practical way.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Therapy is not weakness. It is a place to find your strength again so you can continue to be who you need to be for yourself and others. It is comparable to a lab where you learn and try things out. You then try them out in your world and then we make changes as needed. It is a practical place of change.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
We will seek to better understand what is going on in your life and will seek to begin to plan for how things will go in our times together. I also want you to be asking questions of me and ensuring there is a connection and an environment that is open to you and your concerns. I seek to put you at ease from the start of this process.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I, as most people, have worked through varying situations in my life and that is what connects us as humans. We are all just seeking to do our best and I never ask someone in my office to do anything that I am also not willing to do for my own health and wellness. I want to practice what I preach. I find my hope in God and know He has gifted me with the skills to help others.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Therapy is more about you than it is about me. We need to have a connection and we will start building that from the first session but the work is about you and your concerns most importantly. I work to make this work about your needs and your goals. I use varying approaches to help give you tools and techniques to grow, not just a cookie cutter approach.
