About Provider

About Kimberly

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience. I have provided therapy across multiple settings to children, adolescents, adults and families using evidence based approaches to treat a wide range of concerns, including childhood disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma and abuse, grief, self-esteem, chemical dependency and relationship/ family issues. I aim to provide a safe and supportive space where clients can implement solutions tailored to fit their needs and promote meaningful change.

I use approaches tailored to each client's needs. Together, we identify strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful lasting change in a supportive environment.

Seeking support is a profound act of care for yourself, and you don't have to navigate these challenges alone. I invite you to reach out and schedule an appointment so we can begin this journey together.

Get to know Kimberly

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

I wish everyone knew that going to therapy is a sign of profound strength, not weakness. We don't hesitate to see a doctor for a broken bone, and caring for your mind is no different. Seeking help means you are actively choosing to fight for your own well-being.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

In the first session and early stages, clients can expect a collaboration focused on safety, pacing, and clarity—not an interrogation. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or to share your whole life story on day one. Early on, we will work together to uncover the root of what is keeping you stuck and begin developing strategies that promote change.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I tailor our sessions by blending different evidence-based therapeutic techniques to match your unique personality, goals, and history, ensuring our work always feels relevant and supportive to you.
