What types of clients do you work with best?
I work most effectively with clients who are open to self-reflection, personal growth, and psychoeducation. I value collaboration and support clients who are ready to engage actively in their healing process.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am especially energized by working with women and individuals from marginalized backgrounds. I recognize the unique adversity that women—particularly minority women—often face, and I'm committed to creating a space where their experiences are validated, explored, and understood. My work is deeply informed by y own identity and community, and I'm passionate about helping clients gain insight into themselves and the broader mental health landscape.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I believe every person has the capacity for meaningful change. While therapy provides guidance and support, I emphasize that the true power for transformation lies within the client.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
The first session focuses on building connection and rapport. I invite clients to explore what brought them to therapy and what changes they feel motivated to pursue. My goal is to establish a foundation of safety, clarity, and shared purpose.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
I create a supportive, non-judgmental environment, but also encourage clients to take an active role in their therapeutic journey. I believe in shared responsibility and expects clients to engage honestly and collaboratively as they work toward their goals.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
In my free time, I enjoy discovering new coffee spots, attending trivia nights with friends, spending quality time with loved ones, and listening to music.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
Individuality and independence are core to who I am. I deeply appreciate uniqueness—both in myself and in the people I work with—and I bring that respect for authenticity into every therapeutic relationship.
