John Joslin is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (LPC-S, CCTP) from the International Association of Trauma Professionals with over 20 years of experience and success. John has experience working with adults who are suffering from anxiety, trauma, PTSD, abuse-related issues, low self-esteem, risky sexual behaviors, and oppositional defiance-related issues. 

He earned his Master's degree in Counseling and Guidance from Southwest Texas State University (Texas State University) and is experienced in cognitive behavioral therapy and brainspotting techniques. John has experience working in a residential treatment center, private practice settings, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and foster home residents and parents. 

He brings a common sense approach to therapy, utilizing a person’s strengths and motivation to facilitate change. John has extensive experience working together with children, adolescents, adults, and families to help them address life's obstacles together, as a team.
