Hello! I am Jennifer Hardt, a licensed clinical social worker, licensed in the state of Texas. With a diverse professional background spanning community clinics, dialysis settings, and intensive outpatient (IOP/PHP) programs as both a therapist and director, I bring a wealth of experience to our sessions. I specialize in supporting adults who are navigating the complexities of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and life transitions. I also provide compassionate care for those managing grief, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and substance use concerns.

I provide a warm, empathetic, and collaborative space where you are empowered to explore your challenges and build the meaningful life you deserve.

I know that reaching out for support takes immense courage, and I am honored to walk beside you during this process. You do not have to navigate these challenges alone. I invite you to schedule an appointment so we can begin the work of building a brighter, healthier future together.

"As one who has experienced personal trauma and loss, I have an authentic understanding of how we are impacted by painful life circumstances and how building new life skills can empower us once again. As a woman, I had to completely rebuild my life and create beauty from the ashes."

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

There is hope. You can feel better. You are important and worth the effort. The healing process starts by taking the first step.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

In the first session and early stages it is important to get to know you and what motivates you. It is important to build that relationship and find out what are the reasons that brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I apply a collaborative approach. I sit and listen to see what your goals are, do assessments, take into account prior methods and interventions that did not work before, your preferences, your learning styles, and background to come up with a treatment plan.
