I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment, and I strive to create that kind of space by meeting each person with warmth, compassion, curiosity, and an open mind while walking alongside them through whatever life may bring.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and tailored to each individual. I don’t believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach, so I take time to understand your experiences and goals. Together, we can explore what may be getting in the way, develop practical tools for navigating difficult moments, and build greater confidence and self-understanding.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something to change, I’m here to meet you where you are. My hope is that together we can create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I’d be honored to be part of that journey with you.

"Hi, I’m Giselle, an LPC-Associate with a master’s degree in counseling and experience supporting children, adolescents, and families through life’s challenges. My work has included supporting clients navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, emotional challenges, relationships, and major life transitions. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, feel heard and understood, and work toward meaningful growth at your own pace."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I chose to become a counselor because I’ve always been drawn to understanding people, their stories, and the experiences that shape who they are. I find it incredibly meaningful to be able to sit with someone during difficult seasons of their life, listen without judgment, and help them recognize their own strengths and possibilities. I believe people deserve to feel heard, supported, and understood, and I wanted to build a career where I could create that kind of space for others while helping them navigate challenges and grow into the life they want for themselves.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work well with clients who are looking for a supportive, open-minded space to better understand themselves and navigate whatever they may be experiencing. I especially enjoy working with children, adolescents, young adults, and individuals going through life transitions, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, or changes in their sense of self. I value working with clients who are willing to explore, grow, and take things one step at a time, while meeting them wherever they are in their journey.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that there is no “right” way to heal and no timeline you have to follow. Progress can look different for everyone, and having difficult days does not mean you are moving backward. Therapy is not about changing who you are or having all the answers—it’s about having a safe space to better understand yourself, work through what you’re carrying, and discover what helps you move forward. You don’t have to be “okay” before you reach out for support.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, my goal is for you to feel comfortable, welcomed, and heard. We’ll spend some time getting to know one another, talking about what brought you to therapy, what you hope to get from it, and what feels most important to you right now. In the early stages, we’ll work together to build trust and create goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you. You won’t be expected to have everything figured out—I’ll meet you where you are and we’ll take it one step at a time.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is grounded in the belief that every person has a story worth understanding and deserves to be treated with compassion, respect, and dignity. I value authenticity, openness, and creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment. My experiences working with people from different backgrounds and through different seasons of life have taught me that healing is rarely a straight line. I bring patience, curiosity, and a genuine desire to understand each client’s perspective into my work, while honoring their individuality, strengths, and personal goals.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by getting to know the person behind the concerns they’re bringing into the room. I consider each client’s personality, experiences, strengths, culture, goals, and preferred pace when deciding what may be most helpful. Some clients may benefit from practical tools and strategies, while others may need more space to process and understand what they’re experiencing. I’m flexible in my approach and collaborate with each client so that therapy feels relevant, comfortable, and meaningful to them.
