Frank believes that everyone has what he calls a "life backpack" of events, and he explores it to find solutions to present situations. Frank fosters a multicultural environment to enable his clients the freedom of expression. Frank has experienced some matters of life such as abandonment, neglect, and grief and loss—building empathy comes to him naturally.

"My work exposure in different settings and among multicultural populations has taught me that everyone has what I call a "life backpack," which interferes with their present life. This informs my person-centered, goal-driven therapeutic approach, as I believe each individual is the main actor in their own life situation."
