About Ayesha
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 11 years of experience providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy across diverse clinical settings. I support clients working through depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral concerns, self-esteem challenges, grief, loss, and major life transitions. My approach is grounded in compassion and a client-centered focus, and I strive to ensure every person feels safe, seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from Eastern Michigan University. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based work, mindfulness-based strategies, motivational approaches, and emotion-focused techniques. I tailor treatment to each client’s goals while supporting emotional awareness, resilience, and long-term growth.
I remind clients that therapy requires honesty, patience, and openness, and that healing is a powerful process of rediscovery. My goal is to help you navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence while offering steady support along the way. Growth takes movement, and I would be honored to help you move toward where you want to be.

""You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face." –Eleanor Roosevelt"

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
At an early age, I realized the importance of helping others. Even in elementary school, I often found myself acting as a bridge between my teacher and a friend who needed support. Seeing how my efforts made a difference sparked my desire to help people in meaningful ways.
That early experience led me to pursue a Master of Social Work from Eastern Michigan University, where I committed myself to developing the skills needed to become a competent, empathetic and compassionate social worker. I genuinely love people and I am deeply fulfilled by helping others reach emotional resilience and reconnect with their strengths
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I want clients to know that strength and courage exist within everyone. Sometimes those qualities simply need to be magnified, reignited or revealed with the right collaborator. Therapy offers a space to rediscover and reclaim the power, light and resilience that may have dimmed due to life’s challenges. Healing is possible, and therapy provides the support and guidance to help that inner strength shine again.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect a judgment-free, supportive therapeutic relationship that encourages self-awareness, emotional exploration and personal growth. In the first session, I provide a warm and open space where clients are invited to share what brought them to therapy, as well as their hopes, goals and dreams. Together, we begin building transparency, trust and collaboration—laying the foundation for meaningful work as we move forward on their healing journey.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Every client is a unique individual with their own perspectives, experiences, cultural background and goals. I approach therapy with this individuality in mind, ensuring that the work we do together is personalized and aligned with what each client needs most.
I design therapy to honor each client’s uniqueness and value ongoing collaboration. I regularly check in with clients about how they’re feeling, what’s resonating, and what may need to be adjusted. This continual dialogue allows us to shape a therapeutic process that truly supports the client’s growth, comfort and identified goals.
